Astilbe is a low-maintenance perennial known for its feathery, plume-like flowers that bloom in early summer. Available in a variety of colors, these elegant plants grow to 1-1.5 feet tall and thrive in full sun to partial shade. Resistant to most pests, Astilbe is an excellent choice for adding texture and color to garden borders, shaded areas, and moist, well-drained soils.
